This is a video I shot today of my 3 year old grandson , Gavin , running his northbound BNSF train and railing 3 micro-trains auto racks.
How do you think he does?

Thanks Josh , he is pretty good at most railroads , knows most all types of cars , NEVER runs a train fast , and can ID a ATSF GP60M (my favorite loco) and a SP cab forward.
He is a real train nut!!
Thanks guys , Mike & Robin
Unreal ive always feared that someone so young could break a train car........ well now i stand in AWE :jawdrop: When you see Gavin again give him the at a boy and a pat on the back. OUTSTANDING
That's great...!!! I don't know if I'd let my 4 year old g'son do that..!! Might give him a try when he next visits....
You've got a railroader in the making ... Goldth
That's a good video. He does a good job too. I never doubt the age when a little one is ready to "run the layout"...my six year old daughter is already particular and only likes running the engines with sound.
Thanks Guys , Letting him do things on his own is not without disaster. The other day his 2 year old brothers train derailed on the other track in the mountain and Gavins train hit it and sent a C4400 to the floor and broke a truck I can not get a replacement for. He amazes me though as he can handle a Micro-Trains tank car and never lose a piece off it.
Anyway , Thanks Gang !!!
