In preparation for open house all of my car cards got out of place. Or maybe all of my cars got out of place. Anyway, the cars were not where the cards said they were. So I shut down the C&O while I sorted things out. After 2 days of finding cars and matching them with cards, I now have more cards than cars. I don't get it I am missing about 30 cars. Before someone suggests theft during open house. Maybe one but not this amount. I don't know why I am telling you guys about this except maybe some commiserating.
Weird! Check you hidden staging tracks? Smile

Good Idea hidden tracks would be a logical place for hidden cars
I only suggested it because forgetting about cars on hidden track is something I'd do! Goldth

I doubt the GERN effect as it will run less efficient with fewer cars. Now frieght will sit on loading docks waiting for rail car to move it. OH NO I could loose freight business to the trucking industry. That's it those dastardly trucking companies did it. I bet Jimmy Hoffa had something to do with this.

And if that doesn't work...check the place where the socks go when they disappear from the dryer.

Haz-mat? What is that? I model the 1940s maybe a little into the 50s. Remember I am the guy who gets excited about steam.
