How about a casket maker, shipping raw materials in and finished caskets out to happy, satisfied customers everywhere?

I would assume they would ship out in boxcars. Interesting idea. You could probably come up with a few creative names for the place, but other than that, you could model it as a "generic" industry (building with a loading dock).

As an aside - one of the creepiest things I ever saw was 3 truckloads of caskets heading east on interstate 40 on 9/12/2001. Likely a coincidence, but still creepy.

I've had this in Dunnville for some time:


The name is that of a real casket company in Hamilton, Ontario, and I always thought it to be somewhat apt, even though that first "E" is pronounced the same as that in "every" rather than as in "evil". The family was quite into philanthropy, too, donating a wing at one of the city's hospitals. The real plant wasn't served by rail, and mine depicts only part of the factory. However, there are two hidden industrial tracks under the staging yard, serving as an unmodelled switching district, and Evell will certainly be a tenant on one of those sidings.
