So lately Ive been pullin goofy hours doing snow removal, and so now that Im done for a while Im still on a goofy sleep schedule and find myself up late. But when Im up late I gotta be quite, since everyone else is sleeping. So I head to the basement turn my radio on (quietly obviously) and have been messin around on the layout. I can now say all my track is layed, and I started a project with my Walthers grain elevator. Im cuttin it kinda in half and adding silos on both sides of it to go along a wall.

Next on my to do list is to start soldering feeders to the track and run the main power wires under the layout, and finally clean the track, and I can start running trains.
Sounds like you have your life organised. Goldth The beginning of a new layout is always an exciting time, especially running the first trains - are you using DCC?
Good to hear from you Kevin. So where are the photos of your progress? Smile
Cheers

Yep dcc is what Im using for this layout. as far as life being organized, Im not so sure on that one, I sure did a few months back but things change.

On the pictures, I have a new camera that taked great pics, but when I load them or put them on a site, that are giant, and I cant figure out how to change that.
You should be able to shrink them down in any photo editor program.
I'll bet you've been doing a lot of snow removal lately! Goldth Glad to hear you have layout time, even i its while everyone else sleeps.
Ralph
You can change the size of the pictures right at the camera. Most cameras have multiple settings for picture size, all you got to do is look through the manual (Yes...that's what they're for.... Goldth ) and set the size to whatever you need....
Yes indeed Ralph, its sure been a busy last few weeks, but Im with one of the best companies in the state, and Im making good money, so Im not complaining.

The darn instructions are almost just as complicated tryin to follow along. lol Ill read into it more, I tried uploading them to photo bucket and then to a wesite and they were still larger than normal.
