when you are creating a post (or reply) scroll down to Add Attachment
Then click "Browse"
then find the pic you want to upload
Then click "Add the File"
then, when the file is uploaded clicl on "Add Inline"
That'll put the pic into the post itself

Hi Richard, and to Big Blue.
There are several options for adding a picture to your post. If you have a photobucket account (it's free) you can simply "COPY" the img tag line beside the picture, the "PASTE" it into your post wherever you wish it to appear. In your composition window, it will show as a line of data, but will change to show a picture after you hit "POST".
Another choice would be to create an Album in our own Gallery. Follow the directions there on placing pictures and posting them into a thread.
The other option is to use the "Upload Attachment" option, available at the bottom of the screen when you're composing an answer to an existing thread or when you're creating a new thread.
If you need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Hello Richard, Welcome to the Gauge. What part of western NC are you from. I have friends in Conover and Ashville.
Beautiful country.
