I have looked every where I can think of. These pics are just to give the Idea not to be exactly what the pic is.
"Alloy Forms" makes some - kinda pricey, though. Perhaps PM trucklover - he is into that stuff and maybe he can give you a lead.
Any idea what that truck is in your picture?Year/make/model?
It looks like the outline of an Autocar emblem on the front of the radiator. Lester, I would look at trucks from the 1930's for your layout. They really didn't change much until the late 1950's or early 1960's with the advent of bigger turbocharged diesels that required bigger radiators for cooling. The GMC trucks of the early 1950's and beyond were different from prewar since GM probably led the industry in styling trucks. Most of the rest of the industry put a big old radiator in front and that kind of determined the width and height of the front of the hood. The length of the engine determined the length of the hood and then they put a two passenger cab behind the hood, usually with a big air cleaner or oil filter hanging off the side of the hood. White had the round nose cab over that Ulrich used to make and I think is now back in production but pricey, but those were not designed for off road use. Most of the more "stylish" trucks would not have been used for off road dirt hauling or mining. Walther's carries a number of trucks from the 1930's including Autocar and Mack that would be appropriate for late 1940's to mid 1950's at least. The "B" model Mack would be appropriate well into the 1960's. If I remember correctly when I started in the transport refrigeration repair business in the early 1970's Mack was still producing the "B" model. Look also at WW2 vintage military trucks. Many dump trucks in service after WW2 were ex-military. When the war ended, the Army had a lot of excess trucks, many not put into service, yet to get rid of, and they sold them off at surplus prices. A lot of ex-GI's looking to start a trucking business bought Army surplus trucks and trailers.
classic metal works has IH R-190 and WHITE WC22 tractors ,Model train stuff (MB KLINE) has a good price on (under 10$ ) on tractor and flat bed trailers that could be converted inti dump trailers.

If all else fails - scratch building.
Roco minitanks is the answer to my search. They make military trucks that I can kitbash into what I am looking for.
Russ, how well versed are you on semis? I took a couple pictures of semis that I like, but can't figure out the model (the makes are easy)
Slyvan makes a large collection of period heavy trucks worth buying. http://www.isp.ca/Sylvan/vehiclesHO.htm

My dad and uncle were truck drivers when I was growing up. My brother is a truck driver and I retired from 40 years working as a transport refrigeration mechanic, so most of my life has been spent around trucks. I was born in 1946, so I don't remember prewar trucks, except to notice that because the automotive industry did no development work on new models during WW2, the emphasis when the war was over was the production of new model cars as soon as possible. Really new cars (rather than reworked prewar models) didn't come out until the 1949 model year. New trucks came out a couple of years later.
Here is what I have as of now
Start with these 2 trucks and this trailer

Trailer is just beginning
I have a feeling this is gonna be cool Smile
The two Roco military trucks look like International Harvester trucks from either WW2 or Korean war vintage. The yellow KW looks like it has the wide hood from the 1970's or newer. When a 220 or 250 Cummins or a 6-71 Detroit was big power, the trucks had narrow hoods. When the 318 & 350 Detroit Diesels and the 335 & 350 Cummins started showing up in trucks, they needed bigger radiators, so the grilles got a lot wider.
