We are approaching our next issue of the Big Blue eMag, and I'm submitting an article on bridges. I need some pictures to illustrate the different bridge types and I could go out on the Internet and seek what I need, or go crazy and take a bunch of pictures myself, :o but I have decided to turn to you all for the pictures I need. Here's a few things to give you an idea of what I'm looking for. They can be either models or full-scale railroad bridge, just let me know which is, since sometimes it's really hard to tell because of the skills possessed by the members here.

Deck beam or girder
Trestle
Plate girder
Arched
Deck arched
Stone arched
Various truss types including Warren truss
Suspension
Other types, either simple or complex.

I would prefer that you email me the photos rather than post them here. That way they will be a surprise to everyone when the magazine comes out. Please keep them to no larger than 800 x 600 pixels, and 250K. If you have 640 x 480, that's OK too. We can resize them to fit, bigger is not always better. Photos that have been posted here are OK too. You can just point me to the thread they're in.

Secondly, by sending me these photos, you are giving me permission to use them in my article and in our eMag. You will be given credit for those that we use.

There are plenty of bridge photos available on the Net, but I'm excited about making this article an all-Big Blue member one and not go outside if I can help it. If you want to send me a photo and don't have my email address, please PM me and I'll send it to you.

Time is of the essence, so I'd like these photos within the next few days if possible.

You can't. I'll PM you my email address and you have to send me the pic that way.

I can supply a combination deck and through girder, and I also have a trestle. Please feel free to send me your email address, and I'll provide you with several photos showing both bridges.

Email is on the way, with seven pics of bridge models. One in N scale, one in On30, and five in HO.
I would have sent it "last week", but I had to first learn that I had to create it as a "draft" in order to attach photos, and be able to send it. This new AT&T email is an unmitigated assemblage of Calamitously Recalcitrant Antagonistic Programing !!

I thank all that contributed pictures for my article. I have a good variety of bridges to show, and I'm pleased that most of them came from right here. That was the intent, and youall didn't disappoint.
