Hello everyone, Iv'e been without a computer since May and been wondering what has been going on here. Trying to catch up on the postings but have quit a few to go thru. Any way the reason for this post is to let the guys interested in rail marine operations to know about this site http://www.teamtrack.xooit.com It's a French model rr site that has some outstanding modelling. Check out the NY Rail Marine Operations thread under the scenery section of the site. There is alot of info here that should be of interest. It's in French but you could use the translator if you can't get enough info from the pics.

I still don't have a computer yet but visiting my son so posting this.
Bruce, thank you for that link. Very good modeling and a wealth of information there.

Hope you’ll have your own computer running again soon!
That side is on a high level. Some/most layouts are excellent. It is a great pleasure to browse the pages. Thanks for the link.
Wow there is some superb modeling presented there! The NY Marine Rail thread is an excellent resource for anyone interested in rail barges, tugs, etc. I browsed around and saw pics of Ron Parisi's West Side Freight line, a favorite of mine that I remember from both MR and RMC photo pictorials.

Cat lovers and haters alike will be fascinated by pics of the Iron Belt in the "Layouts" section that feature two felines sitting and laying among hundreds of dollars of detailed steel mill structures! Eek
