Hi All:
Has anyone had any business or experience with Nelson's N Scale Site?
He sells items, apparently mostly his own plus some he purchased when he bought out a hobby store that closed plus an estate.
Just wanted to know if anyone had any dealings with him.

His site is: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://nelsonsnscale.com/index.htm">http://nelsonsnscale.com/index.htm</a><!-- m -->

Thank you.

Dwight ...

I don't know if you are aware of it, but we have an N Scale model railroad distributor right here in Lehigh Acres, not far from my little neighborhood. According to my Mail Lady, who I have been educating about the hobby since she was so curious as to why I keep getting packages, sometimes several at once (purchases off EBay.) She has started telling me such things as how many copies of "Model Railroader" she delivers on her route (eight copies) and then she told me about this guy in the next neighborhood south of me who she says gets several large boxes almost every day. She takes them up to his door, and through talking to him she has discovered that he has/is a distributor/catalog sales business.

The name of his business is Prestige Model Productions. Not being an N Scale guy, I never pursued it any further, but it might be worth looking into. It's a decent looking web site with what look to be current product offerings. I don't know how good the pricing is as I am not at all familiar with the N Scale side of the hobby.
You may want to look into Fifer Hobby. Mike is all N-scale and a real good modeler here.
Check him out at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.fiferhobby.com">www.fiferhobby.com</a><!-- w -->
