Here is a list of those who entered and has shown enough progress to warrant being listed here. There were a total of 17 entries, 8 of which completed the challenge, one came really close to finishing, and another two had good intentions and some fair amount of progress. These are the ones I've listed for consideration, you be the judge whether those that didn't finish deserve your vote or not. I did not list the ones that had fine expectations, but little or no progress to report. Remember the intent of this challenge, to get you off your duff and get something done that you would have found a hundred excuses as to why you didn;t start it. We'll give some credit and some consideration to those that actually made an effort but didn't make it all the way to the finish line. Those that didn't are certainly free to post any further progress pictures in their thread, we'd like to see the finished product, but what is done now is what counts.

If you want to review any entry, just click on their name in the voting list and it take you to their challenge thread.

Thanks again to all that have participated, now let's get the votes in to show our appreciation. Thumbsup Thumbsup
The voting polls are now open, they will automatically close on Oct 1st, so as they say in Washington, vote early and vote often. Eek Eek Eek
I was wondering why my "outhouse build" wasn't included, but I just checked the thread and it seems I forgot to post the photos of the finished work. 35 Even worse, I can't find those photos. Wallbang Oh, well, not a difficult project and not really worth a vote anyways.

When's the next Challenge, and what's the subject? I obviously need to get a head start on some of the other folks here. Misngth 357

Just to clarify.....We can vote for only one out of the eleven, or vote for up to all of them at once...? And I presume that unlike in Chicago, we can vote only once..?? Goldth
You can vote for one, some, or all 11 as you wish, but only the one time. Thumbsup

Want to say congrats to all who participated, and we all win in that we are further along with our modeling plans now than we were, plus it was fun watching all the projects progress, and hey, I bet we all picked up a new skill or a new trick here and there too!

Cheers Cheers

This has been one of the most fun challenges I've participated in.... Thumbsup
The level of competition has been raised considerably since I last participated, and I think we all learned something we didn't know before. I know I did.... Goldth
Yup! Lotsa fun and lotsa learning. I hope some of the innocent bystanders found it interesting, too, and will join us in the next Challenge.

Hey! I had a ball! I got my tired, sorry bottom off the sofa and onto a kitchen chair with all my modeling madness spread out in front of me ... I was in heaven! I tried some new (wel, new to me) modeling techniques and was semi-successful with them ... with a little practice maybe I'll learn how to use them properly.

And I have all of you people to bla ... er ... um ... thank for the "nudge."

Seriously, I want to thank you all for all of the encouragement and kind words, for accepting me as part of the group ... one of the Big Blue community!

THANKS!!!

Cheers

According to the setting, you can select up to all eleven. I didn't want to restrict anyone that couldn't make up their minds. No, really, there are some entries that are hard to decide on, and more than one that deserve a vote, so you can actually vote for all if you want to...

Oh, BTW, that comment, "vote early, vote often" was just a joke. Most politicians would love that, and as I recall, there was something amiss in Chicago that made this a policy rather than a suggestion. That was a long time ago. But no, you can only vote one time for one person, but you can vote for as many as you want.

I seem to recall hearing about the next challenge being to pick up an unfinished project that's been sitting on your shelf, bench, or in the closet, and finish it. Am I recalling correctly?
Don, nothing personal, but who in their right mind would expect a person to choose which project is best? I have just gone over each one, and all are fantastic beyond belief. And you expect me to select ONE that is best? I would just declare them all winners. WHEEEE. All have turned out a project that would take me years. All I can say is "Congratulations to one and all"

I don't know if that's correct or not, but it sounds like a great idea. Thumbsup Thumbsup

What about a project that you started, but want to start over again? Same idea, different approach?

Oh! Sure! pick a hard one why don't you! I have almost as many of those ( "unfinished project that's been sitting on your shelf, bench, or in the closet" ) as shingles on the boathouse ! Eek Icon_twisted , and I'm supposed to choose one......that's like voting in this latest challenge. Confusedhock: Big Grin Big Grin

But..........it just might get one of those finished........ Wink
