So....

I took a little break to work on project for the RPM meet in Wichita. I want to make a realistic looking photo diorma do equipment can be photograhped in a realistic setting. I have a long way to go but I have short time to get there so I will make this quick.... 35

This sure beats building some scenery on a permannet layout just to have to tear it out and start over. This also has helped me to visualize the way the shelf layout will work when I get to the scnery phase.
That works for being quick! In fact ... it's Peachy! Icon_lol

The splice bar details are very nice. I've purchased some and am looking forward to when I can start experimenting with it.
Looking good, Greg. Your modeling skills are way up there. Looking forward to seeing many more nice scenes from you! Oh... How about some tutorials along the way?

I still can't get over how well your mountain backdrop turned out. Thumbsup
Hey guys!!

Thanks for the comments!!
As for tutorials I am currently writing an article on my trackwork and if it does not get picked up I will post it here.
The rest of it is pretty much standard stuff not worth taking pictures of. If I come up with something useful I will try to slow down long enough to take a pciture.

Here are a few more photos
I got rid of the elevator being as it did not look right

I like it, Greg. The weathering is nice, and I see that your artistry is showing through on the backdrop. - nice work on the buildings. I like MP 82350 too.
Thanks Gary,

Here is some more progress

That is really beautiful. I like it very much!
I like it too! The structures have a very "railroady" look to them. I like the juxtaposition of the green brick and corrugated metal buildings. The Texaco tanks are great. Nice ground cover work too!
Ralph
Ralp and Reinhard,

Thank you so much for the great comments, I added some details today but will wait for more visable progress before I post some more pictures.
