Very Nice! How do you hand lay your turnouts? It looks like rail soldered to PC Board ties.

Yes, building turnouts is one of the favorite parts. Thid is my latest HowTo. And with my module Silver Creek I had the chance to build some crossings too.

That template looks suspiciously like a Fast Tracks template. Your track work looks really great!

I've used them before too... they are a great tool to have. I enjoy hand laying myself. At the risk of re-posting photos over and over, please take a look at my current layout thread. It's HO scale. It's also undergoing some changes as of late, but I'm slowing getting to the point where all the track work will be completed and I can finally start working on some scenery...

The action doesn't really start until page four.

Shane, this will be a nice layout. I like the barge connection. Just like with my old Westport.
