Thanks to Sarge for setting up the league for a second year!

We're READY TO ROLL!!!!

PM Sarge or me and we'll send you the sign in info!!

We have room for 6 more players!!!!
Football is almost over, means its almost time for racing! Hope things change for junior this year and maybe Mark will get that ever elusive championship (and then retire to his rocking chair) Either way, hope it is an exciting year!!
Count me in again....and thanks for setting up the league.

Thanks Sarge, I appreciate the effort you put in for us.

Last year I missed last place because of the inattention of others. Perhaps I can get a nice clean loss this year.....

I'm not trying to pick losers or winners, just the guys I find most entertaining and who I shout at every weekend.

Of course if Joey Logano won the cup I would be ecstatic and not a loser....

Tony.
This is still open to everyone, no limit this year. So come on and join the fun!! Thumbsup
:hey: :hey: :hey:
Great....we are up to seven teams with no limit. This idea of using money may work out well and let more enjoy the league. Since the money is the limiting factor, everyone can have some good drivers. In years past, when a driver was taken, no one else could choose him and often the selection became poor at best. This should be quite interesting this year.

Watching "The Day" on Speed. Ten years later and watching clips from that race can still break me down.

God speed Dale!!
WOW!!!!!!

What a weekend (so far)!!!!

For anyone not watching Smile

Friday night in the Truck Race.. Exactly 10 years to the day that Michael Waltrip won the Daytona 500 and 2 hours later we learned the Dale Earnhardt had passed away.... Michael Waltrip won the Camping World Truck race.... Of course he dedicated the win to the Number 3 driver and his previous owner, Dale. Smile Big Grin Smile VERY Emotional win!!!!

Saturday Dale Jr was "just ready" to overtake his "dancing partner" (as the on air personalities have designated them) - Clint Boyer for the win in the Nationwide race and Tony Stewart overtook them and won the race in .007 (Seven THOUSANDTHS) of a second! about a foot and a half of "bumper". He then took the checkered flag for the "Polish Victory lap" around the track, while he held "Three fingers" out the window as he waived his hand. (another Salute to the Great Dale Sr.)

Tomorrow, for this ONE race, From the time the lead car crosses the start/finish line after Lap 2, until the "leader" crosses the line to complete lap 3, all the announcers, will be silent and of course, all the fans in the stands will hold up 3 fingers....... It's the 10th Daytona 500 since Earnhardt died.....

If you have the chance, (as I'm sure Sarge will attest to) try to take the time to watch "The Day", I saw it once.... I truly can't watch it again...... A Fantastic Tribute to Dale Sr. and a moving show if you watched Dale race for years as I did......

Well enough "Recent History" Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Tomorrow, The Sprint Cup Racing begins her wicked and wild season....... 43 drivers trying to get one trophy - The Harley J. Earl Trophy, commemorating the life and contributions that Earl made to designing and promoting automobiles.

Only way to get it is to Drive FAST - turn LEFT for 200 laps (500 miles) and finish first out of 43 drivers around Daytona International Speedway - in February......

Best of Luck to all!!! Have fun watching and rooting for your teams!! I'll be back Tuesday (after NASCAR administers any point penalties) to begin the weekly "Winner's List".

Remember - "I" post weekly winners, the main site keeps tabs on overall winners...

Ya'll have a good one!!

Let's Go Racin' Boys!!!!!

Hi Mikey:
Quick question, we were allowed to spend $100 on our drivers.
Are we allowed to keep those drivers througthout the first six race segment even if the value exceeds $100?
My entry is $0.80 over and I wanted to make sure I didn't need to adjust until the end of the segment.
dwight77
Yup, you keep them at your original price. Only goes up, or down, if you change drivers.
