Sometimes I just need to change things a little. I went out this evening and had a brain storm. For me that is not much as I have been told by 2 Neurologists half of my brain is dead from cerebral hemorrhage back in 07 many of you will probably remember. Anyway I started ripping stuff out, after I started I thought I should record this. So I will start with an older photo or two of the area I am destroying.

Well actually not anything new. I am rearranging some things to eliminate a pain in the a** area.

There seems to be a... a... how does a disrobed female make it to the middle of a construction site and the bulldozer operator is still working? I'm pretty sure most guys would be good sumaritans and go to her assistance... LOL

This project is turning into a nightmare. I have had a connecting track between coal mine and power plant for about 15 years. It has been one of those pain in the a** operations but I lived with it. Loads went into power plant and came out at coal mine. Empties went into mine and came out the power plant. I decided I have had enough with it. "TIME FOR A CHANGE" . Here is a drawing of what it is/was. All of these lines are double track



This is what it is/will be, maybe. These drawings don't show scenery and buildings to be dealt with



Looks easy enough but it is turning into a nightmare. nothing is going right. It is hard to reach. I am loosing what little bit of a mind I have left

Brilliance has it's own heavy price to pay.

I finally got the track down last night. I will try to get a photo up by tomorrow. I think it has solved my problems. I am fine tuning everything now. The long straight track between the mine and power plant was entirely hidden behind buildings. it was approximately 14 feet long, need I say more about it as trains were backed in and the clearance between them was to close. Good idea and plan , poor execution

This is where it is now. Maybe I need to back up a little,first I will show before then now. The before photos are from my files just to try to give you an Idea of where I am.

This is what was a furniture plant. The hidden track went behind the furniture plant and the buildings to the right which were cut in half and hollowed to alow for the track. In the last 2 photos you can see the 2 hidden tracks at the power plant.

Well you see it is kind of like this. This happens to fall in the Big Ugly jurisdiction. Sheriff Jones, you might remember him from when a woman was killed by a train a few years ago. Sheriff Jones was called to the scene where he arrested her for, well I'm not sure of the charges. anyway he got her into the back seat of his patrol car and took her away after a rather long period of speaking with her. As to her where a bouts now, I don't know.
