The video was great, along with the layout. Excellent work! Thumbsup
Hi,

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated.

Before buying the loco I did some research and discovered that early Athearn Genesis MP15AC's had MRC decoders which were problematic

with regard to both sound and running qualities. Athearn then switched to Tsunami which is fitted to #1173 and I'm very happy with it.

Here's another pic of #1173

Hi,

Bought a new camera recently, so I just had to take some pics of the layout.

Here's a couple of pics of GP40-2 #6351 switching reefers at Palmetto.

Hi,

To celebrate completing the layout which took 6 months to build, I've put together a short slideshow and video.

Here's the link http://youtu.be/L01jQwVb6Xo

Mal, I apologize if this has been asked before, but what structures did you use?
Congratulations! Cheers

I'm now thinking that the lower level of my layout extension (N-scale on a 6" shelf) may be best setup as an ISL that is attached to the rest of the layout - I really like the concept of having multiple industries to switch in a small space. Most of the buildings would be flats on the backdrop so that I have more room for track (a main and one industry lead).

Hi,

Apologies for late reply, I've just returned from holiday. The Food Processor is by Great West Models. The Warehouse at the left and also the non-rail served Warehouses at the front right of the layout are Pikestuff. The non-rail served Warehouses back right are scratch built.

Hi,

I've recently added a new video which includes a slideshow of a typical operating session on Palmetto, together with a short test video in HD widescreen.

Enjoy, train

Enjoyed watching your video's and such a great little switching layout! Just goes to show that you don't need switching puzzles or a huge layout to have a realistic operating layout. Great Job!
I love your small great layout Thumbsup
Excellent videos of a great looking ISL. Thumbsup
Thanks guys,

Your comments are much appreciated. Big Grin
