The following tutorial was submitted by "marty w." on 10-26-02, and is being recreated here to bring back some historical records to the New Academy:

I picked-up some Bev-Bel Buffalo Creek boxcars. On one of the cars, the logo was not registered correctly. The inner black circle was not concentric with the outer white circle. I used "Fast Orange" hand cleaner with pumice to remove most of the logo.
This works great. You can control the amount of lettering you wish to remove or fade.
