As I was leaving the hobby shop the other day, I had to walk in front of a bar on my way to my truck. Out in front of the bar was this beauty...
Did you see it? Here, let me zoom in a little bit... can you see it now?
COOOOOL eh?

It was in front of some bar next to Frank's Hobby house near Cactus and 32nd street.

Ah yes, my old stomping grounds, but a bit far for me to go now. However, I'm headed over that way tomorrow, gotta stop by PV mall and get my Chompie's bagel fix, so I might stop in that shop while I've over there. I didn't even know that it was there. I do remember the bar though.
Maybe the same biker will be there again....if I'm lucky...
Thanks.
So that's what you tell the wife??..That you were at the hobby shop....
Yeah...Sure....
Interesting! My Dad's two biggest hobbies were trains and motor cycles. I've been trying not to be interested in motor cycles (b/c I think they're dangerous, etc.) but now my youngest son, who is also a big train fan, is also showing an interest in them! I certainly wasn't encouraging him -- it just happened
I've got the same addictions... 'cept I like the ones that are more for the dirt...
And a Pennsy fan to boot. Must be a great guy.

Im just wondering what art work he has on his jacket? What about his helmet?
Um would it be a Pennsy K4 loco per chance? Not super knowledgeable about steam.
Mark
Very nice! All he needs now is a genuine steamer sound cam stuck under his seat so that his bike makes the right sounds going down the road!
Now THAT's what I call a fan...!!!

Looks like an M1a Mountain. Can't see enough detail to see if it has the firebox circulators that would make it an M1b, but it's definitely not an M1, as it has no external steam delivery pipes.
