Hi All:
Interesting story about the Kadee Coupler Company. You have to make it by a 15 second commercial but thats not too bad.

Very interesting!

Its interesting to think that Kadee really is a big company. Typically, I see my locomotives and cars go by, and I think of them in terms of Atlas, Kato, Athearn, Bachmann, whatever, but in reality, there is one critical componet that each share; A kadee coupler! They may be more ubiquitous than any other model product in the train hobby. Its cool that they got a shout out on the news.
As someone who models in the ONLY correct scale Icon_lol I have a lot of their cars as well as using their couplers.
Geez Mike, in Michigan we call that the "N"ormal scale.
I use ONLY real Kadee couplers. Over the years since the patents expired and the knockoffs appeared, I've had nothign but trouble one way or the other with anything but the genuine article. Well worth it in my book to use them. Plus none of the knockoffs even comes close to having a range of variations for tough fitment problems, although that is FINALLY becomeing less of an issue as the manufacturers are finally getting the idea that a somewhat standardized coupler mounting is a good idea.
