This is a very special time, being the only time that it will ever be 11 -11 - 11 - 11 on a Veterans' Day.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Smile What about 11-11-2111???

They will continue, as will our thoughts and prayers and Thanks go out to our veterans
We should never forget what they have done for us, it's important that everyone remember and honor their sacrifices. I truly believe that we would not be a free nation if it wasn't for what our service men and women have done throughout the years starting back in 1776 right up to 11-11-11.
Some of the members of my C130 NCANG squadron and almost 100 others from my base left for Afghanistan today...and they'll be there over the holidays. Their Veteran's Day was touched with special meaning.

Don't know, that's a day or three away,......
and I have a sinking feeling I'll be "getting to the roots of things", by then. Big Grin Big Grin 357 357 Big Grin Big Grin :o

For now though........Thank God we have those who served, and became Veterans, without them, things would be much different here, and not necessarily a good difference.
Freedom requires eternal vigilance.
A silent thanks to those who paid the highest price for our freedom.....
For those of us who survived, May fortune continue to favor you, that you can receive the grateful thanks of a great nation, and pass it on to comrades no longer with us, when next you see them, as I hope to be able to do when my turn on the "watchbill" comes.

I won't make it that far. Neither will anyone else on this forum.
