Hey -- just a heads up. the Lansing Model RR Club's swap meet and show is this Sunday from 11-5 at Michigan State University in the Pavilion. It has over 500 vendor tables and is just a great show with quite a few layouts on display. For more information, log onto lmrc.org.

Chuck,
Where is your show report? I did not go this year for lack of funds. Sad

Any chance you will coming to the Grand Rapids area in January ? If so look for the guy with the Z scale layout and say howdy.
The show was fantastic! We had a huge turnout and the vendors were pretty happy. We scaled back the number of tables to make the aisles a little larger, but we still had well over 500 tables. I found some fantastic deals on some building kits that I just could not pass up! There were great deals all over the place. NMRA Division 5 ran scenery clinics throughout the show, and the Steam Railroading Institute was there and did a couple of presentations in a classroom -- another big hit with the attendees. There were also a good number of layouts on display in all the scales, including a European layout. The folks who bring out their layouts are a great bunch of people -- very friendly and knowledgeable. The show was definitely a success -- we received great feedback from the vendors and the show attendees. The club members put a lot of work into this show -- planning, advertising, and lining up layouts etc... It is the reason the show is so successful!
