You've got more ambition than do I, Les.
Your proposed grade is just slightly more than 2%, by the way.
Wayne
Its not ambition it is needed if I am going to operate my Railroad.
Considering the option for some folks is not operating the railroad, I think that may qualify as ambition!!
jwb your gondola is going to be running down my new section this evening. I will be posting some photos.
Well, Les, considering the disability you've mentioned and the amount of work, gol dang, that certainly is ambition!!
I guess I should give some updates on this. I will get some photos of progress later. I can tell you though it was the best thing I have done since I first started this layout in 96.
Looking good Les!
I guess I should start where the track crosses the door.
It is just coming off the door here. This is where the switch is for the east bound and west bound meet. This train is eastbound going to Newport News, off layout.
Here you can see the main part of the layout above with the new part below.
Now it is going past a rock cut out soon to be passing Gern
Going under Flux shaft and passing Gern
Here you can see both east & west bound tracks going to hidden yards.
This is the track going to and from west / Russell.
Last one. If you remember back at the beginning of this story this will look familiar.
Les, you certainly weren't kidding when you said "big changes", but I'd also call them big improvements, too.
Nice work!
Wayne
Looks Great Les!!!
Thanks guys, still in the works though. Maybe 6 more months will do it.
