It's not too early to start off a Christmas greeting thread. Here's a card from Peggy and I to give you all our special greetings. We just ask you to not forget what this season is all about, it's not "holiday time", it's "Christmas time", we are celebrating the birth of Christ. If you have other beliefs, then please, celebrate the season in your own way. In any event, please remember to give thanks for what you do have, for regardless of how little, there are those who have less.

We hope Christmas brings you and yours all the happiness that you deserve and we hope you get that special something that you've always wanted but didn't think Santa knew about. We wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas as well as the best for the new year. We hope and pray that things go better for us all in 2012.

Merry Christmas to all my friends here at the Gauge.[Image: 20111224113632.jpg]
Merry Christmas to all at Big Blue.
It is 6.30 am Christmas Day, I am up early after having driven my housemate to work at the old folks home, all is quiet after the storm we had last night, lots of rain, lightning and thunder.
I saw the fox living in the grounds of the old folks home again this morning, it had caught something so it will be having its Christmas Dinner about now.
I have had the last two days off and will return to work Jan 3, its the busy time of the year fixing things around the school before the staff and students return at the end of Jan.
Santa knows I have been working hard learning to weld things this year and has got me a small gasless mig welder and a folding welding table to practice on for work. I have my eye on a second type of welder for my birthday in Feb.
Santa also got a book on welding for my son to give to me.
I will see my son for Christmas tomorrow and we will go to a family dinner at my sisters place. Toys will be the order of the day tomorrow.
I hope that all here at Big Blue have a good Christmas, go easy on the food and drink and try not to let the silly season irritations get to you, just keep rolling along and take it easy on the roads. Get as many naps in as you can.

May your problems always be easy,
Your grades gentle and kind.

May electricity befriend you,
And dust avoid you,

And may your track go one forever.

To everyone here at the-gauge.net
Some of the ornaments on this tree are older than I am, being "family" ornaments.
One of them is exactly my age, being made for my first Christmas.
Many are hand made by Family, and Friends.
It all puts a little more meaning in the season.
Sumpter, I also have Christmas ornements passed down to me... Most of them date back when my parents had their first Christmas together. It's always a pleasure to repeat the tradition again and again.

It's been a while I've heard it put this clearly... and it feels good. I'm on my way going to Midnight Mass back in my hometown, a long forgotten wood chapel in a poor place lost in the backwoods but still dear to me.

My stay is quite recent, but enjoyed this short ride the best, with its friendliness and openess. I'll will be a pleasure to continue it next year...

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, we may have had hardship, pains and sorrows over the year, but this special Day is there to remember us there's no place for despair down here since He's having faith in us. Wink
