What are these people watching ???.......

[Image: ebbets003.jpg]....why a ball game at Ebbets Field , awaiting the Dodgers against somebody , in the early 50's .

I know , we are a model railroad Forum so what's with baseball , you ask ?

Well, a customer of ours has commissioned us to build Ebbets Field for his O scale layout , of course , so I thought I'd show off some pics part way through the build .

Wow, somebody has an awful lot of room, especially since they're not going to be running trains around the ballfield. Maybe the EL?

That is some impressive detail though... Thumbsup Thumbsup
Looks like my other submission disappeared .

I'm not the brains behind the project .....that would be Mark Williams of Imagine That Laser Art ........ http://www.imaginethatlaserart.com . Mark uses Corel Draw and 3 laser machines to go with his artistic talent .

I can't divulge the owner or the cost of the project . We will be delivering it ( it separates into 3 parts ) and assembling it in his layout "room" ...about 15000 sq.ft. The guy has already bought 2 Harlem Overpasses like the one on our website and there will be other projects down the road . We should be done in 3 months ....31,000 seats to install and hundreds of lights as well as the infield , railings , etc . It's been fun !!

"Dem Bums, Dem beautiful Bums".
It was a sad day when the Dodgers moved out of Brooklyn.

( 31,000!? I think , when you are done you will all be "seated" ) 357 357
I knew you'd get a kick out of it , Pete .

Must be one heck of a layout!

That is freakin awesome! Lot of seats indeed. Big Dodger fan here, at least when I was a kid and they had just moved to LA. My father hated them for moving, but I kept the faith. Boy, I'd like to see this fellows layout, hope he publishes some thing some day.
