It's free to join and "vote" for pictures and if you want to, you can upload a picture.

(from the FAQ):

There are four ways to participate:

--- Submit a photo of what works in your world – the innovations, innovators, technologies, cutting-edge practices, machines, scientific discoveries, organizations and other features of life that work to advance America. Then share why you feel they work by filling in the caption “______ Works”. For each submission, GE will donate $1 to our Non-Profit of the Week supporting American jobs up to $10,000 per week.

--- Support all your favorite photos by pushing the heart in the upper-left corner. Every time you “Heart” a photo submission, GE will donate $1 to the Non-Profit of the Week.

--- Like GE’s Official Facebook Page on the celebratewhatworks.com homepage, and GE will donate another $1 to the Non-Profit of the Week.

--- Win. Each week five submissions that capture the spirit of the What Works Project weekly prompt will be selected by a Guest Judge, GE and GOOD/Corps to receive a $500 prize.

So if you submit a pic and it's chosen - You could win $500.00

This has nothing to do with Big Blue or anyone here. It's your choice if you participate. I only posted it here, because it's a chance for railfans to give back to the community by having GE donate money. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
