Wayne,
nice to see how an 1960's Brass USRA Santa Fe is turned into an Canadian Style loco.
That's another example of Terror Sawing:
Note extra thick bottom created by Bachmann so that you can never-never install a speaker for sound. But there will be still Extreme Terror Drilling
Meanwhile, here in Middle Europe is a never ending month of April in sight of weather terms oder April-Summer, was time to give the 0-8-0 a more complete look:
Decals are Microscale singular letters and cyphers. I did several coatings on Mocro-Sol until the decals were plain. Then coated with Micro-Flat.
Still something to do like a load of coal in the bunker and crew.
Now this brass 0-8-0 out of the 1970's has become an intregal part of my rolling stock.

Great-looking results, Lutz.
I'm a fan of short tenders, too, as my towns are pretty close to one another.
These locos all have shortened "short" USRA tenders:

To complete and to finish this thread:
This is Woodland coal piled up in the bunker and glued with white chaulk.
Ready to switch everything she can handle.
A crew was added, mixed from Woodland, La Belle and Kato loco staff.
Since the crew was placed and the windows were glazed, i miss the missing cab interior not so much.
Still waiting fpr PSC parts...

Gotta love those 0-8-0's...!!
Ive got two of them, a P-2000 and a brass version. I think I'll try converting the brass one to DCC so I can run it more often...
