I want to add some icehockey player to my H0 scale layout. I mean, there once were such a set.

Can anyone help ?
Well , I'm from " hockey- mad " Canada , and i've never heard of such a model figure in HO . If you've been reading my Ebbets Field thread on the scratch built forum , we are working in O scale and will be requiring baseball figures for our next project . We are seriously thinking of buying a 3-D printer for the company and using it to scan baseball pictures so as to make our own figures .....not sure if this will work for us or not , and printers are expensive .

I would suggest that you try to find someone with a 3-D printer and see if they can help you for a nominal fee .

The only catalog I have is a 2007 Walthers. Preiser had a set of 6 figures, 590-01315 ( Walthers Cat. # ) " Skaters".
and, possibly modifiable, 590-10312, ( Walthers Cat. # ) " Cross Country Skiers.
There was no listing for a "Hockey Team", or "Hockey players" , anywhere in the "Figures" section of the catalog.

Hockey "players" could be made from the "Skaters" set, as they wold not require 'uniforms'. A Uniformed Team, would require a lot of detail changes.

Wish I could have come up with something more, 'luck', finding ready to use hockey players. Cheers

....Hey Pete , there are some " careful players " in the NHL that I refer to as " Ice Capades " so maybe your skater conection would work 357

Finished:

I took some roller skaters made by Preiser and modeled then with some butty to become the wanted ice hockey players
