There were prototypes with that style cab. The cab and boiler were from a model of an Illinois Central prototype.

I don't have any more of this loco yet, but have plenty of photos of other locos I built.

Love that Shay....I might have to get me one of those to work the as yet unbuilt copper smelter that'll be the "centerpiece" of my RR.....
