Full Version: Single line T-Trak standard?

Are there any groups or individuals out there known to be using a single track variant of T-Trak? Are there any members here interested in this approach? I'm contemplating something similar for an apartment layout, but thought I should do a little research before proceeding.
If there is a single track variant it would some one with a private layout.TTRAK is basically a table top version of NTRAK and is meant solely for train running.

Now there is no reason you could not start your own version. Before we converted our old NTRAK to On30 it was a modular version of NTRAK that we called 2TRAK. TTRAK is sized for KATO Unitrack but for your own purposes you could use regular code 55 . A suggestion for you make two 48" long modules and two end modules 30" wide x 15" deep.Since you tend to like the smaller equiptment this should be big enough for anything you like to run.I you decide to shopw the layout request a 8' table, this will allow room for the layout with enough room at the end for your power set up.
I just want make sure there's not already a standard before I start my own. And, as you know, I'll look for any reason to put off working on a layout. Wink
G'day RailOhio,
Having a `handle' like mine I am a bit late in adding my bit. Essentially with single track T-TRAK there is no real specific standard other than just having a single main line track on either of the two mainline track positions.

Especially the early ones. This is one of many projects I must get back to.
If you are already a member of the two main YAHOO! T-TRAK forums:

you can ask around there to find out what various people are doing. If not a member, I strongly suggest you join because there is a lot of information and experience amongst the members and you only need to ask the right questions to get the answers you need.

has a few single track modules in it.
