I've been giving myself a headache!
I'm sure when I get an answer, I'll look like
So, go ahead, make me look like some newbie fool ... what does "LPB" stand for? :?
biL
"Little Plastic Being"
Don't feel bad, I had to ask the same question last year.

And all along I thought that the "B" stood for something else.
Oh, well, as Emily Litella would have said, "Never mind."

It does on my layout. My LPBs came out of an injection molding machine. Their parents weren't married. :geek:

No worries, the only dumb question is the one unasked

Actually they were, once the molds are finished they are a 'married' pair with the guide pins
The term " LPB " goes back a long way in Big Blue history.
At one time there was a long dissertation on what the "B" stood for. "L"ittle, and "P"lastic, were always realtively well understood.

" If they are sitting down though, are they still workers? "

I wonder if I could get my Life Like LPBs to fit in my Dodge Vipers, or if I should just have them parked together...if I ever get far enough to put roads in

I dunno if I'd put L
PBs in a Viper - maybe just sitting in one that's parked, but I was just reading in Car and Driver about Vipers and an issue with hot cabins.
LMBs, the em word being Melted.

They have been like that since their beginning, they still haven't notice the exhaust heats up the foot wells and floor pans like a oven

Hey, I've sat in a few, and many years ago as a porter at a Chrysler dealer got to move a few around the lot, and as long as you're careful they won't burn you. And yes, they have had the problems with heat since day 1, that comes with such a low car where the exhaust is run down the sidesills of the car rather than under it. Sure does make it fun to get in and out.
Oh, and if you can't tell, I'm a huge Viper nut

No! Really?
Actually, I have to give Chrysler credit (wait, the government did that
) for coming out with the Viper in the first place, and it
is an impressive vehicle. I'm kinda partial to that other "snake" car, too, although I wouldn't trade my current ride for either.
