Santa was good to you Tom!
I did quite well. I got an awesome photo album book called Classic Steam by John Gruber -- it's a coffee table book containing excellent shots of the steam era in North America. My son & wife also bought be a (British) Hornby 0-6-0 Terrier loco for my OO layout. Very pleased Big Grin
My father in law gave me a nice Bowser Pennsy T1. It needs to be repainted and some detail added, which makes it that much better.

My wife managed that an Athearn SOO bandit MP15AC arrived in time for xmas from NYC.

Matt
I didn't get very much railroad related stuff for christmas (I got a crap ton of trains for my birthday a month ago though, so it evens out I suppose).

I got a bunch of railroad documents and books, including some New York Central operating rules and timetables for the "Northern District" (Canada, Detroit, and Michigan divisions). It also came with a Conrail "Starlite 222" lamp, but I can't find light bulbs for it.

I also got a DVD called "The Last Years of the Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1s", which i'm about to watch.

Other notable non-railroad gifts were some crystal specimens, including a piece of Native Silver (a pure element, as opposed to it combined in something).

ooo thats a shiny alright!
My dear sweet wife bought me a Spring Mills Depot B&O I-12. Wagontop caboose' what a beauty! And my son got me a Athearn genesis Sd75m.....great Xmas.
My son (with help from his mum) bought me a Hornby model of a Terrier, which is the same class as the "real-life" Stepney in the Thomas series. Here's a pic of it below.

Some friends also got me a coffee table book called "Classic Steam" by John Gruber. It's basically a photo album & the photos in it are awesome. Trains aside, these are professional, excellent photos depicting the steam era, and the people and buildings of the railway, taken across North America in the '40s and '50s, etc. I strongly recommend it.
