I built a cardboard malt silo out of cardboard tubes covered with a thin layer of spackling compound.
Could you please tell me if you prefer the "plain" silo ( pic 1 ) or the one with a conveyor structure ( pic 2 ).
So far the conveyor structure is just a mockup.
Any suggestion or improvement advise ?
When it's finished I'll add a big "Canada Malting" sign
Jacques
I definitely prefer the one with the conveyor structure – looks much more interesting.
I'm with Kurt. The conveyor structure "makes" the scene.
Ralph
Well, this makes it "three for, and none opposed"......yeah, go with the conveyor structure.
I concur with the above three opinions.
Yepl, put it on
Thanks Kurt, Ralph, Sumpter250 ( No 1st name ) , Jesso and Jim for taking some of your valuable time to give your opinion.
It looks like I have no other choice that to add the conveyor structure.
My dream silos looks like that ( see picture ), but I have no other choice that to do an
intensive geographic compression lol
Jacques
Definately put the headhouse up there it will help convey the idea they are silos (goo d looking ones by the way) .
I think it will look better with the conveyor structure also.
James
I ( finally ) completed the silo.
Thanks to all the members who sugested to add the conveyor structure.
Here are some pics.
Jacques
