Thanks guys, things like this are fun to do, if you can ignore all the splinters an bruises. As we all know, no matter what you build or buy, it's never enough and you outgrow it in no time. As was the case here. Within a short time, we had filled up all the storage, so I built a small case to fit on the top of the cabinet. But that still wasn't enough so I built a floor model that's on the left of the cabinet. I also found that raising the screen was more comfortable to watch and a lot easier on the neck, so when we got a flat screen, it was light enough to raise up around 16". I guess I should have built a taller cabinet in the first place.
