The club was in the Columbus dispatch(news paper) today, went to their website to look around and found a link to a cad program just for lego builders it lets you virtualy build a model brick by brick to see how it will look and it keeps a running list on parts needed for your design. The Program is called Ldraw(a buch of programs in zip file).

I am not connected to the group or the software just found it to be neat and have been playing with the program. Thought others may be interested.
