Here's links to 3 other LAJ layouts being built:

Here's a link to my current LAJ layout: http://tinyurl.com/cj6dp3h
Shown in the link are my plan, Switching Maps of the Leads to be modeled, aerial of the LAJ in Vernon CA & one staging tray idea to be used at Malabar Yard. Thinking about using a "pigeon hole" type storage under layout vs drawers. Got the idea to use Malabar for staging from Bob C another LAJ modeler. The layout is in a 10' x 14' room ao it ts VERY compressed! Besides ATSF, Malabar will be used for SP & UP interchange trains going to/from the LAJ yard. Should be enough switching to keep 3-4 operators busy w/o getting in each others way too much. It's being built on modules in case a move is ever needed. Comments & questions are welcome. Anyone else building an LAJ layout?
Sorry Andy - all those tinyurl links take you to a Google sign-up page - no use to people who don't want to!
Best
Jack
Yes I experienced the same issue, google signup pages....

I have an Google account because I use some of the Google news groups. But Andy did define his albums not for public read access. I had to ask for each album to get read access. It's now 2:30pm in Germany. Let's see when Andy gets out of the bed in California and grants permission 357
Maybe he posted the links that way because he doesn't want anyone to look at then. Nope Eek Icon_lol

Andy is up and granted permission Thumbsup
Sorry about that. But have all my pix in Picasa which is Google. So anyone knows a better way please let me know. But Google is free right? Hasn't cost me anything. AND 8+ people have done "Request to share"! Have Dropbox but haven't figured out how that works completely.
Andy, the problem is that you have to have a Google userid to request permission. There is no way in if you have no Google userid and do not want to join Google.
Google is like Facebook "very" much interested in your personal data. Lots of people try to avoid them whenever possible. You may have noticed that I use a different userid/name in Google and Facebook to protect my privacy.

ps. The information posted is very interesting. Thanks for posting it!
