I like using the RTS from atlas, but is there another program that has the peco stuff? or even better additional libraries?

I like Cadrail, but I haven't used any others. They do have very good libraries (including Peco):

But no one added anything but Stein so far lol

Maybe you guys could post the links you posted above in the thread for track planning programs Misngth
Thanks ill try both of them out
I've had very good luck with xtracad.
I've had good luck also with XtrkCad. It took a little while to learn, but you get the hang of it. The only drawback is that there is no 3D like the others out there. It's a lot easier to learn than 3rdPlanit that's for sure!

I'm a little confused - I went to your anyrail link and it offered to download what turned out to be a limited version of Atlas RTS 8.0, which is dowloadable free in the full version from the Atlas site itself? :?

Assuming you see that as a drawback and not a frill. I think it's overrated. If you can draw and test-run a track plan, with grades and separations, generate grade profiles and add structures and scenery elements, being able to look at it from the side is just a gimmick. Tongue

As I said in the other thread, XtrkCad is the best because of the bang for the buck. You can't beat free, and it's head and shoulders above Atlas's RTS. Admittedly, if all you want to do is build a layout with Atlas Snap Track, then RTS is just fine. But if you're trying to design anything over 4x8 with more than snap switches and sectional track, you suddenly discover its' limitations.
