Hey look, no one said it was OK to bring age into this enlightening and scientific discussion. If you want old, let me tell you a thing or two. I, uh, know, hmmm, and, uhhh that, uhhhhh...... sheesh....what were we talking about again? 35 35
So every week when the engineer comes in to get his paycheck... Who gets the money? Goldth Goldth Goldth

and... What's the guys name that wants to turn off that light????
I get the money, because I have all the answers. My only problem is with those persons that ask stuff that don't have answers. the light Icon_idea

What if the light is the head light of a train? Should you get off of the tracks?

This is all very confusing so let me paraphrase a line by the immortal Jason Nesmith of Galaxy Quest who said, " There is no "quantum flux". There's no "auxiliary". THERE'S NO GODDAMNED SHIP. You got it?"

So, ...there is no light, there are no engineers there are no keepers of the light, you got that? Eek

I know that sounds far-fetched and contrary to what we are taught, so I'll explain more, Light is a figment of the imagination. You eyes can only see dark, but your brain converts that to light so you can see things clearly. :? This was discovered back in 1890 by the esteemed French scientist, Alphonso de Fromage, whose work, unfortunately, never got published. That being said, there could not be a light at the end of the tunnel, nor can there be a lightkeeper or even an engineer that drives a train with the lights turned on. Nope

I know this will be hard for some of you to accept, so we will have counselors standing by for any of you that needs to talk about this. Thumbsup

We seem to be illuminated by the spark of insanity. 35
So easydays are you saying that light is white therefore it is the absence of light that makes it visible. and darkness/black is the presence of all of the light spectrum therefore it is the presence of light. If this is true which as dumb as it sounds it is true. since you can see the light it isn't there or rather isn't lit but must be off/black. I think I got that right, it's only been 45 years since I had that in a class. Then again they may have changed it in 45 years. :?: Icon_idea :?:

Not really, it's a lot simpler than that. This theory is that there is no light at all, white or otherwise. The esteemed, Dr. Alphonso de Fromage and his French collaborator, Pepe la Pew, has proved that light is a figment of ones imagination. The whole world is really dark, it's your mind that sorts things out in the daytime, but at night, you are tired and so that function doesn't work as well. That's why it appears that it is light out during the day, and dark at night. These guys spent their whole lives documenting this, but unfortunately, the dog ate all their documents before they had a chance to be published. Eek

A good example of this is that we all know that the universe is dark out there, yet our astronauts are still able to drive their spaceships to wherever they're going. How else do you think they are able to see well enough to know that they need to make a right turn at a certain asteroid without the use of GPS? 35 Icon_lol 35 Icon_lol 35
