To name a few there will be layout tours, model contests, module displays & a swap meet.

I think it is very helpful to learn something about the special history, ownership and concentration of power in Vernon to understand why that industrial area was and is so successful. It becomes tricky if some people from the LA area know the younger history and get into a political argument. However, strangers would be happy to understand that none technical background. Just my two cent.
