Well - a few weeks later - It's completed!!
I even built a few shelves to display the extra rolling stock.

A Rodgers.. A friend wanted to replace the traction tires and get it running again.. 2 tires and a tender light later --- here it is running over the trestle:

Well - we got the rest of the "more room" finished
2 new display areas.
This one is 32" by 16" "L" shaped:

The lower track on this one is 7' long. These are powered, so that the lights work.

The pics of that train room make me feel like a little kid in a toy store. It's got to be a fun place to hang out.

The roughly 12" X 14" wood enclosure built to hide the supports made with all thread rod. The bare all-thread is in the background.
