Shame you lost this photo. I'd have liked to have seen it and the date it was taken. I know for a fact that from the mid-60's on, the only power assigned to the Maysville Local would be one of the re-engined ALCo's. Quite possible that RS-3's worked the branch prior to the the mid-60's and perhaps one of the L&N's SW's would have worked the line now and then too. Traffic on the Maysville Branch was pretty light except during tobacco season, consisting of mostly inbound cars of fertilizer that were spotted at the various small stations along the line and some traffic from the Carnation plant in Maysville, interchanged with the C&O. We had a fleet of L&N Fruit Growers Express insulated box cars assigned to Maysville for that traffic.
