I did a lot of online searching to find some suitable images for late 60's early 70's billboards. Here are what I've made so far. Oh, Peerless Appliance is my own made up company ...an off railroad industry served by staging track.

Having the anti-pollution billboard next to the smoke stack pouring out smoke.
Was that planned, or incidental?

I saw the Gern tanker but no Gern billboards advertising the 3% improvement it makes to everything.

Was the 7up billboard inspired by The Beatles Yellow Submarine by any chance? It looks awfully similar?

Sure looks like it Mark. It was apparently designed right around that time so it makes sense.
