There will be a few homes in the town of Mauston I am modeling so I thought I would take advantage of Charlie B's post and use some of the Sears houses. First one will be #115
I have all the main wall sections cut out.
Thanks again for the post Charlie!
I'm sure glad to see you building this. I will follow right along. There are some great builds in there.
Charlie
I should need this one and about 5 others.
Cool!....I like those little houses!
Windows and doors cut out.
Cutting doors and windows is one stage I dread. Last build I did I used a chisel point
Exacto knife and found it to be the best way I have found. I was all ways glad to have this done.
Great Job Andy.

I just use a #11 blade. I drill out the corners first with a .030 drill then put masking tape on the back to stop splitting. Always has worked for me.
All the bracing is done, now to paint the inside black and start assembling.
I also made the pantry addition.
Andy,
Looking to be another great structure for your layout. I have a few of these catalog homes I am wanting to build and since they often posted plans with the ads they make for a great resource. You did miss a photo op with the railroad unloading the parts from a couple of boxcars
Thanks Greg, Guess I did miss that.
All pieces painted black inside and assembled.
Andy, that looks great, I will await the final pictures, and Greg, that is a wonderful scene to model on a team track. Great idea, maybe even model the scene from the picture in Shepherd's story

I'm really impressed, but in today's world would that not be called "Canary"
Nice choice for color.
You are probably right on the Canary. I am thinking white windows and doors.
