Rail Graphics (the same outfit that made the LS&W lettering for biL's railroad) offers a sheet suitable for that era. It contains dimensional data for various car types, along with the spring and draught gear data often seen on car ends. I think that it's available in black or white, but may be available in other colours, too.
Hmmm. I just got out one of the sheets and it says, "1920-1940's Freight". Still, it may be suitable for earlier times. I don't see this listed on their website, but they may still be available. He had mentioned that they weren't much of a money-maker for them.
There's data for 40' boxcars, 55 ton hoppers, 50 ton gondolas, 75 ton ore cars, 40' reefers and 8,000 and 10,000 gallon tankcars, all on the same sheet, along with BLT. and NEW dates.
Here's a LINK with some info and a 'phone number.

Thanks, Wayne, I forgot about them. I see they also have a generic data sheet for 1900-1920. That may be adequate for some freelance cars.
