I was working on a Csx caboose a few year ago and is in the scratchbuilding section. Long story short I bought another one but I decided to let the pros handle this one, here's a progress shot from BradleyDCC. He's doing the sound install and weathering for me and he's done way more than I expected.

As ugly as it could be Applause
Sound install in a caboose?
So we can hear the Conductor sounding off about the rough train handling? Icon_lol

Excellent replica of the original car, which is in serious need of some TLC.

Soundtraxx soundcar decoder does sounds like wheel flange squeals, wheels passing over rail joints, coupler crash, reefer units kicking on and off and a few lighting outputs.
Here's a link to more photos of the finished caboose from the bradleydcc website. http://bradleydcc.weebly.com/csx-16604.html

Mark,90% of the engineers I worked with was careful about slack action because they could get fired for improper train handling.

Ever hear a engineer try to explain why he had a break in two from a broken coupler?

I knew one that was yank out of service on during run.. He forgot about the ARF riding in the caboose and after the ARF applied the air in the caboose and stopped the train he walked 109 car lengths to the lead engine and took the engineer out of service.

The reason behind that is there was complaints against this engineer that's why the ARF was in the caboose. The engineer received his termination of service letter.
ARF?
