Hey everyone! It has been awhile since I have posted anything, so I thought I woukd send in a quick update. I finally came up with a track plan for the area in front of my staging yard. It took a lot of over thinking and analysis paralysis, but I finally settled on this. I am using what we call topper tape for roadbed. It is unbelievably quiet and easy to use. The second photo is the turnouts that just took an alcohol bath to clean them up before adding wood ties and painting. Once that is done, I can start laying track!

Looks like you used fast tracks jigs, I use them myself. What are you going to use to hold the switch points and control the frogs polarity?
