I am waiting with a worm on my tongue. Icon_e_smile
Perfect day here right now, I am hoping to get my driveway sprayed with roundup as the weeds are taking over. Some day things will quit coming up and I will be able to pave it.

Have a great day everyone.
Charlie
Good morning all, a nice day in store for here, temps a bit over 100, which is normal for this time of the year. Tolerable by our standards.

Well Charlie, you can get rid of that worm, we've opened the new auction and I'm sure it is not only a surprise, but a delight for anyone that follows the work of Doctorwayne. Take a look right here
Morning.  Raining.  Had 3 1/4 inches in 24 hours.  Got to babysit granddogs and cat for several days.  Daughter and SIL going to Kerr Lake with Frankie and crew.  Glad I'm not going as rain forecasted for next 5 days.  Shut up with those three Granddaughters. Icon_e_surprised   Grandson not so bad.  bet they come home sooner than they had planned.

DAZ, think the date stamp is off on our forum.  We posted June 6 and D Day.  Shows the 4th.

Hope all have a good one.
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and warm are the weather words for today. 71 right now headed for 87 later this afternoon. Fortunately the humidity has been low (for around here) so the temperature has not been a problem.

As predicted I had an attitude adjustment day yesterday. Did nothing but watch movies. But then how can you pass up a movie with the title "Devil Woman from Mars"?

Today I need to accomplish the things I planned to do yesterday - run the string trimmer, clean the sidewalk, and ride the bike. No t-ball until Wed. when the kids have a double header.

Don - that is quite a surprise for the current auction. A special thank you to Wayne for his efforts on behalf of all of us.

All stay safe.

Frank, check your computer's time setting, your post shows as June 6 on mine. You could be off by a day depending on your setting in your user CP options, but not by two days. All of today's post show as today for me, yesterday's show as June 7, so I don't know what's going on for you. Anyone else see this happening????
nice day here was 69 when I got up after walk was 79 heading up.

Must be on this site.  All other forums are right on.
Rolesville had its own super storm.  6 1/2 inches in a couple of hours.  Roads flooded and or washed out.  US 401 North and NC 96 closed.  Both super 18 wheeler routes.  Going to babysit.  Driving 20 miles to go 8 miles away due to closed roads.

Frank, are all your post times off? How about everyone else's, do they look off by two days as well? Just trying to get a feel for what's going on and help if I can. I show your D-Day post as June 6, 2019,5:56 AM (you should see it as 8:56AM if your time setting in your user CP options are set for your time zone).
Made national news. Local weather guesser on biggie station doesn't know where Rolesville is on the map. Kept saying east of Wake Forest. Bet she does now after a sharp message to her producer friend that lives in Rolesville. Roads are still washed out and will be for days or more. Came home about 15 miles shorter. Figured road was flat and not washed out. Was right. Need a hotdog fix.

Got a political brunch in Raleigh at noon. Then back to babysitting. Nothing until tomorrow evening at 5. Watch a lot of TV there as nothing to do. Probably run back and forth to the house some.

More rain forecasted.

Shows yesterdays and then jumps to Wednesday.  All other forums, dates are right.

Have a great week ahead.
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy, breezy, and 69 at the moment with a predicted high in the mid 70s. Slight chance for rain and definitely not what Frank got. That was a pretty heavy dew, Frank.

Got all my chores done yesterday. Only thing on the agenda for today is the F1 race from Canada at 12:30 (central time). Depending on the wind I may or may not get in a bike ride.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning. We apparently made the national news as well. We have a large wildfire just to the north of the Valley, well over 7,000 acres now and zero % contained. We had on the north edge of Surprise two weeks ago and another about 10 miles north of that, just last week. Seems as if the rain that we got earlier in the year produced lots of growth, and now that's drying out and along with high temps and low humidity, it's just ripe for fires now.

Frank, check your setting in your user CP, go to "User CP", then to "Edit Options" and look at how your "Date and time settings" are configured. That's the only thing I can think of right now.

And Dotorwayne's snow plow auction is off to a roaring start. Better get your bids in now, this is a coveted item that will never be offered at auction again....
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 67 right now. It was a little cool at 51 when I got up this morning. High for this afternoon is supposed to be in the upper 70s. Gonna be a beautiful day.

Not much accomplished yesterday. Watched the F1 race. Too windy for a bike ride. Later this morning I'm headed to Des Moines to meet my niece. She's traveling from California to her folks in Michigan. I'll meet her and her 3 kids for lunch. After that I think it's time to buy some new suits. It seems that lack of sunlight will cause suits to shrink.

All stay safe.

Tom
Hello Blue
Lite rain with a high in the 70s today.
We had a nice lazy weekend, talked about what to do for Fathers day. No decision made.
No train news.
