Greetings, gang.

Clear and cool this morning. 45 right now headed for 73 and breezy with winds up to 30 mph. I wouldn't be surprised to see red flag warnings by this afternoon. Humidity is quite low.

Busy day yesterday. Went to the gym in the morning. In the afternoon I rode my bike, trimmed some hedge, and washed the car. This morning I'm headed to Walmart. After that the day's agenda is open for discussion.

Gas prices ranging form $2.25 to $2.39.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning everyone. Gas here is holding steady, with most places being either $2959 or $2.999. Saw a few brand-named places over $3.00. Prices in Tucson are still well below that in the Phoenix area. We sit waiting for a light to change at a busy intersection and I see maybe a few hundred cars wiz by in both direction and think that this is happening all over the world and what a grip the oil cartels have on us. I often wonder how much gas we would save if people changed jobs to ones closer to their homes, or shopped or saw doctors close by. That's one reason we live where we do, I got tired of driving 35 miles from Wickenburg to shop or to keep a medical appointment.

Got a few things done on my layout yesterday, but kind of playing checkers with structures, still not knowing what works best. Got to look at my inventory of kit structures since I lost a few in all the moves we had these past few years. Still doing repair work on some that got busted.

Today is suppose to be another 95° day, Thursday should show about a 10 degree drop from that. I ordered a huge fan from Amazon to get some of this hot air up to Tom, but it might be cooling down by the time it gets here. Sorry Tom, but the fan is on backorder. Icon_lol
56 frigid degrees.  On the road again.  Tractor and disk waiting.  Food plots to sow.  Spit rain most of yesterday but never rained. Hope gone this AM.  Have a good one.
Greetings, gang.

Clear and 51 headed for a high close to 70. Very orange sunrise this morning. Weather will take a turn for the worse overnight. Rain will persist tonight through Friday. Then colder temps with a possible freeze by Saturday morning. Highs only in the 40s and low 50s for several days after that.

Nothing major planned for today. One of my nieces will be affected by the power outages in northern California today. Power could be out for 24 hours or more.

Frank - maybe you should get out your long johns.

All stay safe.

Tom
another morning in az cool in the 60's , great weather for the morning walk , snow birds are starting to show up , with days in high 80's low 90,s all I hear is them complaining about the heat .
Agree with Jim, getting cooler for us, but not enough to satisfy the snowbirds. They start showing up around the first of October, they don't know that our average last 100 degree day is October 4, so basically, we are ahead of the curve since our last 100 day this year has been September 19, and we've had 103 of them this year. No, I don't have a good memory for things like that, the TV gal just gave us those statistics yesterday to make us feel that 95 is a present. Applause BTW, the latest 100 we've had on record is Oct 27, 2016. We try to forget those things. Icon_rolleyes
Greetings, gang.

Rain and 56 outside my window this morning. High for today is supposed to be in the mid 60s with more rain through tomorrow evening. Then the bottom falls out of the thermometer with a low Saturday morning in the upper 20s. My daughter out in Rapid City, SD is getting 3-6 inches of snow so I don't feel quite so bad.

Got the yard cleaned up and mowed yesterday. Nothing much planned for today other than house cleaning.

All stay safe.

Tom
57 degrees and cloudy.  No rain.  Send us some.  Food plots disked and sown.  Walked 11,275 steps yesterday [mostly in the woods].  Ready for Saturday's opening of deer season.  Off to tow SonIL's camper to the farm [why me?].

Hope all have a great day.
Good morning all.

Jim, I think our snowbirds are going to be happy, temps for the next few days are suppose to be in the 80's.

Tom, I had to cancel the fan that I ordered, they said it didn't have a rain filter. I don't mind sending you some hot air, but we want to keep any rain here. No can do Frank, sorry..... Nope

Our County Assessor has his name and photo plastered on their website and all the stuff his office sends out such as tax assessment notices. He now has his name and photo plastered on a mug shot and all over the TV news. Seems as if he has an illegal adoption scheme going on the side bilking taxpayers out of almost a million dollars. I wonder if maybe he didn't raise our assessments just to cover that fraud. Waiting
Hello Blue Nice weather in the low 70s. But gone after Friday.
We have our Oct. club meet Sat. night. 10/12

Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and cold this morning and not gonna get any better as the day progresses. 35 right now headed for a high of about 40 with winds over 35 mph. Got over an inch of rain since yesterday.

Don - I'll be happy trade some rain for the warm weather and maybe even chip in a few bucks. Cheaper than running the furnace.

Quiet day yesterday and today looks to be another.

Frank - if you don't know where you're going it's easy to rack up a lot of steps.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning all, a really COLD one here, down to the mid-60's heading to breakfast, suppose to just get to 90 later today. Not too sure what season we're in right now, but this morning was clearly jacket weather... Icon_rolleyes

Anyone that doesn't believe in guardian angels, should have been with us this morning. First in line waiting for a light to change to make a left turn onto US60, the light turned green and all vehicles on the highway stopped, but something told me not to go yet, and sure enough, a car zipped through the stopped traffic running the light and would have plowed into us at probably 60mph if I had gone across traffic when I should have. Somebody was sitting on my shoulder, and this wasn't the first time. 2238_innocent
Morning.  77 degrees from 51.  Sunny.  Cooked sausage biscuits.  Now getting ready to load up and head east.  Deer season tomorrow.

Tom, sorry but been knowing that woods for years.  Was my state winning FFA forestry project.  As a kid, wondered all over the woods and neighbor's too with shot gun.   Icon_e_biggrin

Everyone have a good one.  Chat Sunday AM unless I get back early Saturday night.
Good Saturday morning to ya all. Slept in a bit today, didn't get up until around 4:30. Been retired for a long time now, but we still can't get out of the "get up early and go to work" routine.

A bit chilly this morning, 61 right now heading to the high 80's. Freeze warning in affect for the high country, the Grand Canyon was suppose to be in the single-digits yesterday, we had wind all day making it feel a lot colder than it really was.

My layout room is a lot smaller than my old one, having trouble finding storage space for all the bits and pieces. Got a set of wall-mounted storage bins and plan on adding some shelving today that will help a lot. Fortunately, when I packed things up a few years ago, I put everything in separate baggies and labeled them all. So far, so good.....
Greetings, gang.

Clear and 30 with a wind chill of 18. Brrrr! High for today is supposed to be in the mid 40s with 40+ mph winds. Not gonna be a pleasant day.

Had the skid loader and power washer running all day yesterday while doing my fall house cleaning. More of the same for today. Need to make a run to the yard waste disposal site but that may wait until Monday or Tuesday. College football at 6:30.

All stay safe.

Tom
