Good morning, yup, really windy here as well. Still shutting down some highways and even getting around town is not easy thanks to some barren land, dug up farmland and just the desert that all have lots of lose dirt. More in store. No rain, yesterday's humidity was down to 6%, just a bit dry which doesn't help when the wind blows this hard. Wind and dry create a lot of static too. Go to turn on a light switch, and ZAP Shoot
a bit warmer here to-day , but stayed home and sound fitted a Bachmann N scale tender now to cannibalise a loco to suit Thumbsup
Cold and rainy when we went out for coffee. After groceries, there was frozen water on the car. Since then it's been windy and variations on frozen water coming down. Very little movement on the street except for the salt/sand truck.
Greetings, gang.

Snow and 21 degrees outside my window this morning. At least with the temperature that low it will be easy work for the snow blower. About 3 or 4 inches so far but it's not supposed to stop until this afternoon.

Yesterday after I ran the snow blower the city plow came by a pushed a large branch that had fallen in the street directly across my drive. I had to move it to get my car out. Then I started to work on gluing down the new flooring. Ran in to a technical problem so that project is on hold until Monday when I can contact customer service. Decided to work on putting in the new quarter round. Only a couple of places where I could put it in. All the rest have to wait until I can get the treads and risers done. Decided to get the scraps cleaned up an bring some semblance of normalcy back to the house. Managed to throw away a piece that I need for one of the risers. 35 To top things off I forgot to record the F1 race last night. It's on again at 8 tonight so not a big deal. Oh, and yesterday when I mentioned hoping the power wouldn't go out? Yep. Fortunately it was only out for about a half hour.

Today I plan to do next to nothing. I'm sure I'll find a way to screw that up also.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning. Busy last few days. 72 degrees and breezy. Had some showers. Possible big down pours later this evening.

Have a good week ahead.
Enough ice buildup (about 6" on driveway) that we stayed in all day. I went out to hang up a couple of bird feeders and shovel the little that was in front of the garage door. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Spent a bit of time on income tax. Info on one form apparently not what the computer wants.

Lucky that most of the precip. was ice pellets, not freezing rain, as they didn't coat the trees and utility wires.
Greetings, gang.

Clear and cold outside my window this morning. Right now it's 17 degrees headed for a high of only 36. Warming trend supposedly starts tomorrow.

Had to run the snow blower again yesterday and the city snow plow managed to push that limb back across my driveway again. Nothing much else accomplished yesterday. This morning I'm to the gym. By the time I return I'm hoping to have the information I need to continue with the flooring project.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning. Tom, for you. 62 degrees and sunny. Cooled down some. Wink Busy day. Had only 3/4 inch of rain and no wind damage. Some west of us did have flooding and twister.

Have a good one.
Good morning, wow, 3/4" of rain, really. We only get around 7-8" in a year so I would love even half that Frank.....

A bit cloudy, but the humidity and dew points are so low that you can feel the moister (what little is there) being sucked out of the ground. Nope Not really, but some rain is well overdue and welcomed....
Welcome Welcome
The Village landscape team was out today at 3 a.m. In the morning, the sidewalk was ploughed leaving 2 big ridges across the driveway, so that we couldn't get out even if we could get up on the ice. Dayle phoned to ask that the driveway be cleared early tomorrow for a doctor's appointment. The crew finally did us at 9:10 tonight.
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 20 this morning. Another 4 inches of snow predicted for tonight and tomorrow. I am so sick of winter!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the gym yesterday morning. Then in the afternoon I went to Menards for some stuff. While I was in the checkout line someone cut in front of me and put his purchases on top of mine. I was wondering who the jerk was. Turns out it was my son-in-law. Had a nice chat with him. Then last night I got a call from my oldest grandson. He and his new bride are expecting their first in early December. Great-grandchild #9 under construction!

Not much planned for today. Swimming day at the gym followed by who knows what.

Frank - remind me to send you a big box of snow for your birthday.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning. Tom tried to send me some cold air last night. Ran it off this AM with sun. 49 degrees and warming fast. Have a good one.
Good morning, a chilly one at that. We're down into the 60's with a lot of wind. Temps not expected to get out of the high 70's, for today at least. The Snow Bowl up in Flagstaff is still open until the end of the month. I guess the late opening kind of got into their bottom line, but there is still some good skiing snow up there, so why not....

Working on the inside of the house, putting up drapes and some decorations. Things are starting to look like we've been here a while....
DAZ, I quit doing business with them after what they did after Sandy Hook.

Good morning all. Still a bit chilly in the morning, but we'll be back in the 80's and 90's starting today.

Frank, I never have done business with them. I think I've been in their store once, maybe twice and didn't like their pricing or the general atmosphere there. Now I know why. Cabela's has been my choice and they always have treated me right. Bass Pro (remember meeting there?) is a bit too far away from where I live now, but now that the two are merged, there probably is little difference between them anyway....
