Morning.  On the run.  Question is, rain or no rain.  Go east and hunt or not.  ??????  Got to got to Food Lion and get turkeys for needy.  Phone is blowing up and town stuff will not let me go.

Enjoy the day.
Gas prices here jumped from $2.95 to $3.03 and $3.09 (brands) a few weeks ago and some dropped the past few days to $3.01. Still a lot higher than the national average, but lower than California.
Never rained.  Hunted in shirt sleeves.  Sun was out all day.  No rain as guessers had said.  Saw one 6.  That was it.
Good morning all, nice day yesterday, no rain as some of those soothsayers forecasted. Clear skies, a bit chilly, but no need for even a jacket. Skiing opened at the Snow Bowl yesterday, and in the White Mountains today. They made snow up in the Snow Bowl, but this week's storm got them 9" of real stuff. People lined up waiting to get in, I guess that's fine if that's your thing. Temps still in the high 60's, then drop around 10 degrees by Thanksgiving. Rain forecast starting Wednesday, Thanksgiving anywhere from 30% to 100% chance of rain depending on who you're listening to.

Went to Costco yesterday, had to park far from the entrance, even though we were there early. Seems like Christmas shopping is in full swing. Lots of folks buying TV's there, saw a 65" for $399, was tempted, but then I remembered, we don't need another TV no matter how good the deal was. Nope
Greetings, gang.

Clear and 22 this morning. High for today is supposed to be in the mid 40s. If today's forecast is like yesterday we'll probably only get to the mid to upper 30s. 38 was predicted for the high yesterday and the temperature only reached 31. And we pay these people how much?

Got the yard waste hauled off in the morning and after lunch I cleaned up another batch. I'll dispose of those later. Headed for Ogden, IA this morning for a basketball game. Hour drive, hour game, hour home. College football at 2:30.

All stay safe.

Tom
50 degrees, breezy and damp. Temps dropping. Rain on the way thanks to a buddy in NOLA.

6 pointer late yesterday afternoon.  He was on the move looking a GF.  Was OK not shooting.  Will get him later.

Have a good one.

Nice, just don't understand what that white stuff is. Marshmallow, soap suds, mashed potatoes, whatever, there sure is a lot of it. Goldth
Greetings, gang.

Partly cloudy and 32 this morning with an anticipated high in the low 50s.

Had a fun time watching my great-grandson play basketball. Got rid of the yard waste. Watched Nebraska demolish Maryland. Got an issue resolved with my cell phone. All in all a good day. Laundry and packing today. Leaving in the morning for Texas. I'll be gone a week and participation here may be spotty at best.

Frank - thanks. Cool video.

Don - you are officially invited to come visit me any time during in the coming months for a refresher course.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning everyone, had a nice day here, got into the 70's, but it won't stay that way as we get into the middle of the week. Some have rain as early as Tuesday, I see one day as, "partially sunny with 100% chance of rain"....hmmm Waiting  Sun showers I guess...

Tom - would be glad to do that, it's been a long time since I've seen that stuff and my memory tends to lapse a bit now days. Let's say I stop by sometime around June. Icon_rolleyes Better yet, just send me a box of that stuff, whatever it is. Icon_e_surprised
Afternoon.  Back from Church.  57 degrees but real windy.  Sun is out.  Lots of rain yesterday and last night.

Tom, I'm sure you all have to do inside stuff up in the snow.  Wink

In fact, NBC and Willie Geist had a thing on an Iowa farmer who all the Dem candidates are visiting.  Quit planting soybeans and corn.  Cattle so soil can absorb carbon from the air.  Interesting.

Have a great week ahead.
Good morning all, time to buckle down and get serious, the holidays are here and going anywhere seems so crowded. Stores, restaurants, the Post Office and even doctor's offices are packed. Finding a decent parking spot is out of the question. There are never enough handicap spots around here normally, finding one open now is out of the question, and we really need them. Yes, they're baaaaaak, snowbirds filling all the empty spots.

Have been seeing commercials for Christmas stuff now for a few weeks, still no, "clap-clap" or "Chia Pets" ads, but I did see some Chia Pets  in Walgreens yesterday.

I don't watch that much football anymore, but i did see a good portion of Arizona State beating #6 Oregon on Saturday. ASU made it to #17 before they lost four in a row and dropped well off the charts. The big game is this Saturday, when they play the University of Arizona. If there's one game in the season they have to win, that's always the one....
Morning.  Lazy resting.  54 and sunny.  Beautiful day.  Errands and then LEAVES.  Tomorrow is big City Farm Day meal right out of R'ville.  Then back injection.  Wed., rain but can't lift for 3 days [including Thanksgiving].

Tom, wake up.

Have a good one.
Greetings, gang from beautiful downtown Muskogee, OK.

It's currently a sunny 64 degrees. Don't care what the forecast is. I'll be heading for Houston tomorrow where it will be near 80. Looking forward to a week of warmer weather. At least I'll miss the first big storm of the season back home. 3-7 inches of snow predicted.

Frank - I've been awake since 5. Just busy with trip preparations.

All - participation may be spotty for the next week as I get verbally abused by numerous family members.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning to ya all.... We've seen the last of the 70's for a while, today should be somewhere in the high 50's or low 60's. The rain starts tomorrow, maybe/maybe not, depends of who's talking. Thursday for sure, some say 100%, others hedge their bet a bit (90%), others a lot (60%). Again I ask, don't they all get their info from the same source? Wallbang Maybe they do, and just like to put their own spin on things.

Still plodding along on my layout as I find time. Found some bits and pieces of a structure and decided to build something different with it. That's the fun in this hobby, nothing is cut in stone and you can either do some meticulous planning, or just wing it and make it up as you go.
