Hello Blue
Sun and 50 today. Rain and wind headed this way for overnight.
A trip to Menards yesterday got us all we went for but the toy train selection was very limited except for the buildings.
I found our Thanksgiving turkey on an end table posing as a table lamp shade and all. I'll let him think he has fooled us till Thursday morning.

Long day.  Included injections for back [through the tailbone].  Rest now I hope.  Tom, safe trip.
Good morning all, just one day to Thanksgiving, kinda scary how quick that came, seems like Easter was just a few weeks ago. Along with the commercials, ads and store displays, I'm starting to see some front yard Christmas decorations. One HOA sent out letters saying that the rules state that homes in their area cannot be decorated sooner than 30 days before a holiday. That kind of upset a few of those families that spend weeks putting up a few million lights and all sorts of Christmas figures, lighting up their whole neighborhood. They backed off saying that the letter was only a, "suggestion".

We had a nice day yesterday even though it didn't get out of the mid-60's. Today should be different, rain in the forecast through the end of the week. Still a lot better than those fighting that white stuff that keeps falling from the sky.

Gas prices plummeted here by two-cents the past few days. Many stations are down to $2.99999999  Icon_rolleyes but I've seen some major brands up to $3.13. Ya know, the, "99 cent only" stores now have everything marked as, $0.999, (rounded up when you check out). I guess that's just so they don't have to change their name, but sooner or later, someone is going to sue to get back that 009 cents plus another million as punitive damages.

Frank, good luck with that back, those injections can't be fun to get, but I hope they work.
Raining [suppose to have fizzled out by the time it got here] and 51.  Resting up.  Wifey baking.

Don, that one through the tailbone worked last time.  Direct ones into the disc area doesn't.  We'll see.

Have a good one.
Happy Thanksgiving, gang.

Just a quick check in. Busy with lots of family stuff.

All stay safe.

Tom
Happy Thanksgiving to all the crew.

Tom, glad all is well with you.

Don, enjoy the day.

Later.
Hoping everyone on Blue has a safe and filling Thanksgiving.

Good morning and a very happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Thanks Frank, we're headed to Pat's (Duffy) house for Thanksgiving dinner taking a load off of us.  So it should be an enjoyable day, will take time to watch the Macy's parade though, gotta do that.

Temps in the high 60's, rain now moved up to this afternoon, they missed yesterday's guess by 20% they said it could start raining yesterday evening, I suppose it's a moving target, I just don't want to be one of those waiting in line for a store to open, then get soaked. Lots of ads in today's paper, some say they'll hand out number to those in line, it's crazy, but then again, I can't blame someone for doing their best to stay in business. We'll do without before heading to any store today, tomorrow or even this weekend. Tomorrow is saved for putting up the tree and the little decorating that we still do.

Be cautious if you do go out, and have a great day.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
Morning all.  47 and sunny.  headed east to hunt.  Back tomorrow night.

Hope all had a great Thanksgiving.

My Black Friday shoppers went out last night, this AM before light and out again.  Complaining not as great as years past.

Have a good one.
Good morning all, a wet one here. Even had a tornado warning in affect for a while lots of trees down, TV helicopter taking pics about 10 miles from us. We here in Surprise have just about an inch since yesterday and it's still falling, folks up north are looking at around 40" of snow before this storm goes away. Another one heading our way Wednesday.

We had a good Thanksgiving, not even a thought about heading out to shop. Nope I feel just a little bit for those that were waiting in line for stores to open, it can't have been fun since the rain hit every part of the area, nobody was safe from getting drenched.
Greetings, gang.

76 and cloudy in Houston this afternoon. Cooler tomorrow.

It's been a mostly good week so far. I came down with a cold and was pretty miserable yesterday. Feeling much better today. My sister-in-law tripped over a curb and fell yesterday. Sprained her wrist and may have a torn muscle. She is a church organist so I hope there's no more serious damage. Scary part is that her mom tripped over a curb and hit her head at Thanksgiving. Never recovered from it.

We're headed for Duluth Trading post soon. May go to dinner with SIL and niece and family later. Nothing on the agenda for tomorrow yet.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good afternoon, not quite 60 yet, but it feels really warm out.Today is a busy one and includes putting up the tree and decorations. Each year we do less and less and hurt more and more.

Had a light bulb go out in the kitchen, deciding whether we go to Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot for a new one. 35Taking the fourth option, one dark kitchen corner is much better than baring the brunt of the chaos going on in any store this weekend, Crazy . We should have a bright kitchen again sometime next week.  Thumbsup
Rain cut the hunting trip short.  Got home yesterday afternoon.  Got a cold again.  May go to Dr. tomorrow.  Still raining.  Suppose to stop later.  Then go clean out my office.  Mainly pictures on the walls and a few thing on top of desk.  Tuesday night, I'm through.  2285_

Have a good one.
Frank, sorry to hear you have a cold.  Congratulations on your upcoming retirement.  As Mr Spock said "Live long and prosper." Thanks for your service, we know you did a lot for the community. Your replacement has big shoes to fill.
