57 and rainy.  Out the door for a busy day.  Suppose to be retired. ???
Hello Blue
A cloudy 38. Snow expected tomorrow through Thursday Morn.
Nothing going on here, I'm still suffering with Strep Throat although there are now signs of improvement. Had my first good nights sleep in a week.
S.J.
Good morning everyone, kinda windy and chilly yesterday. The same for today, not suppose to hit 70 again until tomorrow, then 80 on Friday. Rain still in the forecast for next week, but none of the guessers agree now as to when or how good the chances are. Typical....

Started on my "one foot" challenge, only two registered, so far, both of us admins. Icon_rolleyes  Just thought we'd have more participating by now.
Greetings, gang.

19 and sunny outside my window this morning. High for today is supposed to be a sunny 28 with a warming trend. Highs in the low 50s predicted for the weekend.

Diaper war is over. Stopped on the way home to visit with my friend who is ill. Had a nice chat with him and his brother. Nothing on the agenda for today other than laundry and maybe a trip to the gym.

All stay safe.

Tom
Foggy and 59.  Rain later today [as usual].  Not much on agenda.

Tom, glad you have such a sunny balmy day.  Icon_e_biggrin

Being lazy today [I hope].

Have a good one.
Canadian news. Hope it's not too political. You should know about Rapido trains by now.

Good morning all. Still a bit chilly with the wind blowing, don't know about today though. I see forecasts in the 70's and as high as 81 for the rest of this week so I guess we just wait and see what comes along. Rain still in the forecast for this weekend.

Interesting story, didn't know that was going on. We get protests here now and then, but never blocking major transportation.

Switched TV providers yesterday. The old one refused to budge after more than doubling my bill. Just got a really steep learning curve, new remote, different features and different ways to do the same thing. Just like when you get a new version of software, nothing is the same, especially of we're talking Windows.
Greetings, gang.

Cool and sunny at 22 outside my window this morning. Highs for today and tomorrow in the mid 30s. Saturday and Sunday may see highs in the 50s. I may get the bike out for a ride.

Quiet day yesterday. Laundry and food were the only accomplishments. Couldn't stop eating. Cereal, toast, grilled cheese sandwich, pancakes, two big helpings of spaghetti, and a big bag of popcorn. I'll need to spend extra time at the gym today to make up for my food sins.

One of the guys in my Thursday group called yesterday afternoon. Seems he had a minor stroke due to low sodium. Doing ok.

All stay safe.

Evening.  47 and windy.  Feels like 30. Icon_e_surprised   Home from a Human Services Board retreat.  Started at 7:30.  Ended at 1.  Picked up Caddy.  So so work done and not done.  Will give them bad marks on survey.  That they do not want.  Service summary report asked for all high marks or call this guy or lady.  Nope.

Then haircut.  Finally home.

Sandwiches for dinner.  Wifey painting again with sister at old house.

TV and rest.
Well, good morning once again. Here we are at yet another weekend. But, tomorrow I get a break. Two very long time friends will be in town. Four of us used to get together a couple of times a year to talk, eat, drink and play poker, sometimes here in Arizona, sometimes in California or somewhere else. Then it went to once a year, still talk, eat and play poker, but not as much drinking. Then about every other year, and no drinking, but still lots of poker. It's been almost four years since we've gotten together, so tomorrow, we talk, eat, play poker, but no one drinks anymore. We had a discussion one year about which was the best beer, no one agreed. Most recently, we had a discussion on which was the best bottled water. Still, no one agreed, but my, how time has changed us.... but we're still friends, been so for almost fifty years, and that's what counts.

Hope everyone else here has a great weekend.
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 30 at the moment. Supposed to clear off later and get to the mid 30s. Mid 50s for tomorrow and Sunday.

Yesterday was not what I expected. I occasionally (maybe once or twice a year but sometimes at longer intervals) I get what my eye doctor referred to as an ocular migraine. It's a temporary obscuring of my vision. Lasts for about 15 minutes. Eye doctor says it is often accompanied by headaches. I've never had a headache - until yesterday when I had a second ocular migraine within 4 hours. Had a headache the rest of the day. If it happens again I'll be making an appointment to see my eye doctor.

Nothing on the agenda for today. I'll probably skip the gym and rest up over the weekend.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning.  Was a cold 30.  Now 49.  Sunny but chance of a quick passing shower this evening.  Not much on agenda.  Trip with truck to FIL's to get some things Pam wants me to get.

Maybe seafood for lunch.

Don, how is the wife?  Not much mentioned lately.

Tom, prayers.

Enjoy the day and God bless.
Good morning everyone, Cloudy but very pleasant day yesterday. Today should be the same, close to 80, the TV lady even said it could get to 81. Not so for the next few days, by Monday, temps may not hit 60 with a good chance of rain. Still, rain chances are dependent on who you're listening to. Even two different weather-guessers on the same TV channel have different opinions.

Frank, wife's condition will never improve, I'll send you a PM. Thanks for asking.

Off to spend some time with friends today, haven't seen two of them around four years. As I said yesterday, we used to get together in different places a few times a year, that's been less and less as we get older, each with our own ailments.

Everyone, have a great weekend..... 2285_
Happy Leap Year Day, gang.

Clear and 20 at the moment headed for sunny and 57 in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Could be a little breezy though with winds up to 25 mph.

Headache gone yesterday but I skipped the gym anyway. I was bored sitting around the house so I decided to go to Ames (about an hour south of me) to do some shopping. It was nice to get out of the house for a while. No agenda has been set but whatever occurs will be outside after it warms up.

My question for today - why couldn't leap year day come in the summer so we could get an extra day of summer instead of an extra day of winter?

All stay safe.
